1. The main part in brief
The federal law on the acquisition of buildings by people abroad ( LFAIE), also known under the name of Lex Koller, and his prescription ( OAIE) restricts the acquisition of buildings in Switzerland(Swiss) by people abroad.
The limitations planned by the LFAIE and the OAIE concern " the people abroad ", worth knowing(namely):
The physical persons nationals of the member states of the European Union (EU) or of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA)((EUROPEAN FREE TRADE ASSOCIATION)) which have no their permanent and actual residence in Switzerland(Swiss);
The physical persons nationals of another foreign State who do not have the right to become established in Switzerland(Swiss);
Trading companies and moral persons who have their seat(siege) abroad;
